WGA keeps bothering me

I have Office XP installed (and fully registered + activated) on my system. I
have installed, then a couple of week after deinstalled the add-on to read
the Word 2007 format. Since then, WGA keeps telling me that my copy of Office
is not activated; but when I go into the option to activate any Office XP
application, it is already activated !
How can I escape this endless loop and have the wga notification pop-up &
taskbar icon stop bothering me ????

Go here:
