What are limits on custom fields (how many, etc.) in BCM ?

I have been asked to create a real estate property database in BCM.

Can I add unlimited fields and types? Where can I learn more about these
features (and limitations) ?

Sorry, just a beginner brand new to BCM.

I believe the limit is 40 per folder.
