What are the criteria for Pages Note Read, can they be changed?

I am new to ON, but I have an elaborate application for it already. I have a
group of people sharing a large notebook on a server. I would love for each
of them to be able to quickly find any pages they have not read, or changes
that have occurred since their last visit. Can I control this for individual
users? Would I need to create a 'sign in' capability to accomplish this?
Suggestions please....

A feature for that is not available.
There is no individualization available as you have it in mind.

There is a "pages I haven't read" option under the view menu. You can
also get a list of pages changed within the past few days.

The unread state is stored in each user's cache, so as long as each user
logs in from the same computer, OneNote will keep track of which pages
they've read. What do you mean by creating "sign in" capabilities?
