What are the different versions of OneNote 2007

Hi,

I would like to purchase OneNote 2007, however, I have a question:

I don't see anything on the OneNote home page about different versions; so I
would assume there's only one version -- however, the only thing my local
store carries is the 'Home and Student" version of OneNote 2007... how many
versions are there, and what's the difference?

There is only one version of OneNote 2007.

It's available as a standalone product (purchase it on its own).

It's also included in:

- Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 (that's what you're seeing at your
local store and includes Word, Excel and Powerpoint - it's excellent value
if you don't need Outlook or Access)

- Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007

- Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007

There is one version of OneNote 2007. There are different types of licenses.

Office 2007 Home and Student contains OneNote 2007 as one of the suite
applications that is licensed to be installed on up to three computers for
non-commercial use.

A retail stand-alone OneNote 2007 is licensed to be installed on one
computer plus a portable device for use by the primary user of the license.

Etc.

I would also like to purchase OneNote 2007 I am running Vista on a new Lenovo
X61 Tablet but I have office 2003 and do not know if OneNote 2007 is
compatible. I can not seem to find it anywhare on the microsoft site. I
guess they do not want anyone to know otherwise they would not have to buy
office 2007. Can anyone answer me? Thanks.

Thanks for the information but I am afraid that my message was a little
garbled. Will OneNote 2007 run on Office 2003 and work? Will it have all
the features for all practical purposes?

Thanks for the help.
