What are the sql statements to rename tables and field names in Access?

What are the sql statements to rename tables and field
names in Access? The RENAME TABLE statement doesn't work
in Access 2002...at least not for me.

I found out that Jet SQL doesn't support rename
statements. But I found a way to do it through ASP so
now worries.
