What are the steps to share home printer with laptop? Printer is currently
connected to Desktop.

Operating system is Windows Microsoft XP on both

This Q belongs in the WinXp group
The answer can also depend on the printer software, some printer software
has an option to install as a network printer, on the networked device (Your
Laptop)
