What are Thumbs

In my frontpage web I have a number of of Thumbs.DB and Thumbs.mdb

What are they for (what is in them) ?

I have tried to open them access but when I do the tables don't load so they
are not access DB's

The thumbs.db are a result of browsing a folder with Explorer in the thumbs
view mode from outside of FP..you should delete them if you see them inside
of your web (and don't surf your local web folders with Exploder). I'm not
sure how an Access extension like thumbs.mdb would get in there though.
