What can I do if my trial key does not work?

I already check several time my trial key that was provided to my notebook
when i bought it. as i tried to use microsoft word, it kept on saying that
the trial key is invalid however i download ROCKXP3 software which helps us
to find out the trial key. even this one shows the same trial key that does
not work!
please help me out cause i am desperate!

Perhaps the key doesn't work because the trial period has expired? See
