Hi. I am totally new to InfoPath so these are really questions about trying
to understand a bit better what it does (or doesn't do) and what it can
possibly do for my web application. In my reading so far I can see it
integrates with SharePoint 2010 but what I have is an ASP web application
that I am interested in updating and rewriting in ASP.NET and VB.NET. I like
what I see in InfoPath for its form development and workflow so my question
is this: Can an InfoPath file be converted to ASP.NET/VB.NET for use as a web
application - I mean other than through SharePoint? I hope I am asking the
right questions but would I need to use Visual Studio or something else? Can
someone point me in the right direction for resources and further information?
