I am an author of an Outlook add-in. In our testing, and in rare cases at a
customer site, I've had to debug errors that are a result of an unactivated
copy of Outlook. The first bunch of times they start Outlook, all
functionality is there, but after that, Outlook disables some things and
this causes errors in my add-in.
What I'd like to do is be able to disable my add-in buttons, etc, when
Outlook limits its functionality. Is there a way for me to determine from
my add-in code that Outlook is in this state?
