what cause overlapping of pictures and text while viewing

[help with overlapping]

what causes overlapping of pictures and text files when people view them, and
what can be done to prevent it...on some computers it looks ok , on others it
overlaps and both use i.e. 6.0

Can we see what's happening? URL? Are you using tables and their cells to
place you pictures and text areas. I hope you're not using absolute
positioning.
