What causes gaps of space between text boxes on web pages?

My page layout looks fine for linked text boxes, but when I hit web page
preview, my preview displays huge gaps of space between the text boxes. How
can I fix this? What is causing it?

What version of publisher are you using?
What browser are you using?
What is your URL?
Who is your hosting service?

Without looking at your site, my best guess is that your site is built using
printer fonts and spacing. Internet Explorer works best using web friendly
fonts, sizes and spacing. Look at

info, search the web for "Web Friendly Fonts".

I'm using 2007, IE, URL www.gloryandstrength.com, hosting service is for the
site is godaddy. The problem doesn't occur on all pages, which strikes me as
odd. I've been half tempted to delete the page and start over. I've looked
for any odd character that might be causing it. Displaying hidden characters
hasn't revealed anything. And I'm sure I'm using a web friendly font. Would
reviewing the html possibly reveal the problem?
