What do I do when Undisclosed Recipient doesnt show on emails?

I am using Microsoft Office 2003 for Student and Teacher Edition. I can not
get my emails to display "Undisclosed Recipient". I do everything correctly
and they are going out to several people at a time the right way. The problem
is when they get the emails, MY name and email address is in the TO field AND
the FROM field. Everyone is asking me why I am sending myself an email and
they are getting it? I am thinking it has to be in the settings somehow or
the options, but can't find anything except how to send one to undisclosed
recipients and I already am doing that. Where can I find the problem to
correct it?

this sounds interesting. What happens if you send a blank email to yourself
with you on CC and with an empty To: line?

Ok, I tried that and the To field was empty. My name came up on the Cc and
From line.

As an afterthought I went to my old outlook and tried to send one to myself
on the Bcc field, leaving the To field blank, and it came back with
Undisclosed Recipient in the To Field and my name in the From field the way
it was suppose to. So it has to be some sort of setting I am overlooking in
the Office Outlook.

If you enter the address in BCC (blind carbon copy) field then the
recipient can't see his/her own address. The senders email will always
be displayed and broadcast to everybody. Any email address entered in
TO or CC field will be seen by all.

By entering the email address in BCC you are effectively protecting the
email address of your targets so that their email addresses are not
compromised or harvested by spammers in any shape or form. This is
particularly useful if you are mass mailing.

There is nothing magic about your settings in this.

I'm sorry, but you must not understand the other posts. It is suppose to say
"Undisclosed Recipients". It does do that in regular Outlook but in my office
outlook it has my name and address in the To and From fields both, nowhere
does it say "Undisclosed recipients". I completely understand I am protecting
the other addresses by doing so, but why does it come up on everyone elses
Office Outlook and on my regular Outlook as Undisclosed Recipients but it
won't on my Office Outlook? Mine is the only one that displays it differently
without "Undisclosed Recipients" on the emails other people receive from me.
I am not looking for anything magic, just looking for a solution.
