What do I need to convert my word doc into a pdf file

I am trying to send a word doc to another person who is unable to read/edit
it unless in a pdf file. Can anyone help me with this? What do I need?

You need the to get the full version of Adobe Acrobat (not just
the free Acrobat Reader... see

Or you could use pdf995 a free pdf converter, just install and will appear a
icon in word etc... works well.
