what doctype to specifiy and how?

TracParts

I have used Frontpage 2002 for all of my web pages.
I am using the wc3 validator to check my pages for errors, etc.

Apparently I need to specify a doctype.
All my pages use a little javascript and "included" pages.

what doctype should I specify and how?
Can it be specified globally in frontpage?

thanks in advance

You should specify the doctype that you use.
You can find more about doctypes here:
http://www.hut.fi/~hsivonen/doctype.html

If you build all your pages from a template, you can add the doctype to
the template.
