Hi,
After recent investigations with OLE and reading usenet posts, I understand
that powerpoint is a single instance process. can someone define what that
actually means? i.e. is it single instance per user? per window station?
Specifically, I am running powerpoint OLE from a windows service and I see
that it starts up as a separate powerpnt.exe from my desktop. I am wondering
if there happened to be another windows service running powerpoint would it
share my powerpnt.exe?
TIA
Andy
P.S. if you would like to state reasons why I should not run powerpoint as a
windows service, please start a separate thread ;-))
