What does Remaining Work represent in a Project Server 2003 Admin.

In Administraive Projects, how is the Remaining Work field calculated for
Administrative Projects? There does not appear to be any logical
explanation. In a task in an Admin Project, time was entered (4 hours on two
different days) as vacation. It showed 8 hours work and 8 hours Remaining
Work. When two additional hours were added on a third day, it stayed at 8
and 8. The resource is overbooked on one of the days by 4 hours.

Hi,

to back you up. We are experiencing the same problem. Actual work doesnt
seem to be right (stays 0) and remaining work is almost always :) the same
as actual work.
(hope that is also the case for days off )

I am also searching for an explanation as to why Remaining Work and Work are
the same and Actual Work is always zero in the timesheets. It's confusion
our users because non-admin projects do not behave this way.
