What does "Verify e-mail adress field" mean?

I can not send an e-mail although until recently all was OK. I am using a
hotel high speed internet connection and even when I attempt a test e-mail i
get a message that I need to verify adress field. What does ths mean?

Is that a error popup from Outlook?
Or might that be an *e-mail* that you get back after trying to send?
