what exactly evaluate functoin returns?

Hi Grp,

I have 2 * r cells and i m passing string array as

str = {"1,1,1;2,2,2"} into the evaluate function of excel.

Please someone tell me the exact return value of a evaluate functoin so that
instead of passing this string value into evaluate function, I can directly
pass the value which evaluate function is returning.

Please make a correction :

read 2 * 3 instead of 2 * r.
