What exactly is Synching

Hello. I've posted with a problem about password prompts - but in reading all
the posts I keep seeing questions and references to synching files. What
exactly is that? We have 8 girls in our office that use Groove only to share
one or two files - like our vacation calendar and an Excel file - we don't do
anything fancy with Groove. Is synching something we need to concern
ourselves with?

Synchronizing files.. making sure everyone has the most recent version of the
workspace. That includes making sure everyone has the most recent version of
all applicable files, and removing deleted files from all workspaces.

Groove helps out as well in situations where multiple people have been
working on the same file betweens syncs, so the work of one person isn't
merely lost.

In normal operation, workspaces synchronize automatically.
