What happened to my macros?

I had macros set up in version 2004 so I did not have to repeatedly type my 3 doctor's names, titles, etc. at the end of each letter. Now the Macros are something entirely different and worthless. How do I set up my macros again?

Hi Edra,

Well, Macros written in VBA will not work in Office/Word 2008. However,
I'm not sure that what you had were really macros--both AutoCorrect and
AutoText can be used to do what you describe, without a real macro,
although WordPerfect used to call text shortcuts like that macros.

If you can explain what you did to set them up originally, we might be
able to help you find them.

However, it might be easier to just recreate them. Type the
name/title/etc, as you want to see it. Then select it and go to Insert |
AutoText | New. Give it a name. Once set up, there are various ways to
recall the AutoText. More information here:
