There used to be an option to make text flash or march across the page. Is
this still an option? if so, where is it. It used to be part of the font
menu.
Assuming you're referring to Word 2007: Those options were removed.
Microsoft says it was because they weren't used much, but I think it
was really because the animations are so horribly annoying.
If you're really determined to bother people, you can open the macro
editor, display the Immediate window, paste in this line
Selection.Font.Animation = wdAnimationBlinkingBackground
and press Enter. Other options include wdAnimationMarchingRedAnts,
wdAnimationShimmer, and wdAnimationLasVegasLights. Yuck. To turn
them off, use the option wdAnimationNone.
