What happened to Word?

How do I access documents composed in Word with Windows
2000, and keep the integrity of my document when opening
them in Windows XP?

Thank you,

Dana

Hi Dana,

I'm not sure I'm following your question.
MS Word is not a part of Windows. There is
Word 2000, 2002 (part of Office XP) and 2003,
all use the same file format although each newer
version has some additional features.

Word is text reflow software, documents are affected by
the printer selected in File=>Print and its settings,
by available fonts and other issues.

Windows 2000 and Windows XP have no relationship with Word. Documents created
in Word 2000 are back and forth compatible with Word 2002 (Office XP).
