What happens to schedule meetings when organizer leaves company?

I have a user that has schedules some meetings with staff and resources as
far out as the end of 2010. She will be leaving the organization within the
next month and her email account/profile will be deleted. Will these
meetings still show up on the other calendars?
Exchange 2003..Some users have Office 2003 and others Office 2007

They will remain in the calendars unless she cancels them. If she does not
cancel them, no one else can take ownership of them and if the meetings are
cancelled, each user will need to delete the meeting from their calendar
themselves.

Thank you as we did not want them cancelled.
