What is a map network drive?

Susan if you are reading I need your help again. Thanks
for the help earlier I still haven't tried it because I
just want to know what a map network drive is??? Surely
it's much better to just copy the CD contents to the hard
disk??

Hi, Matthew,

Yes, the first paragraph says, "To resolve this problem, copy the contents
of the Office CD to a folder on your hard disk or to a network share, and
then run Office Setup from this folder."

So, if you don't have a network drive, use your hard drive.
