I installed (some time ago actually) Office XP and when I start Word I have
always got the dreaded "This file contains macros with an expired or revoked
signature" Apart from this, Word doesn't seem to load particulary slowly
although Windows 2000 does and always has loaded very slowly indeed. (not
quite as slowly as it closes which is positively treakly, SOMETIMES taking
up to ten minutes to close).
I narrowed this error down to the fact that word installed under High
Security and A20MSWOO.DOT seems to have an expired or revoked signature.
How on earth would Word install with a template which causes this error
message automatically? What does this entry in the templates section do? And
should I just keep it disabled while moving to medium security? (The only
other error I am having with this installation of Office XP is that for some
reason after I upgraded Office 2000 to XP, my Outloox Express spelczech
disappeared completely but I daren't post to the Office newsgroup as they
arent too good at responding to messages there: So I suppose I will have to
live with that one for a while until things improve)
