I currently have a FrontPage web with a FP Discussion in a subweb.
This works fine.
I am testing my webs on a different provider that doesn't allow
subwebs.
I tried to publish the FP Discussion to a folder (instead of subweb)
but got the message:
"An error has occurred in accessing your FrontPage web files. Authors,
if authorizing against a web server, please contact the webmaster for
this server's site. WebMasters - please see the servers system log for
more details."
Q1: Is it possible to publish a FP Discussion web to a folder?
The reason that I now have the discussion on a subweb is so that I can
manage it on line. I now develop the main web on my PC and then
publish it -- without disturbing the subweb.
I probably could merge the two webs, but then when I publish changes
to the main web, I would be publishing the not-up-to-date Discussion
too.
Q2: Any suggestions?
Sincerely, Stan Hilliard
