??? What is correct download program

I need to work at home and our company operating p.c's operate frequently with
Microsoft Excel 98 and Power point. What is the recommended for download for
home computer that is using Windows XP Home Edition ??? Please advise your
findings.

Excel 98 was only released for the Mac so I suspect you
are getting your operating systems and applications mixed
up.

Operating systems
Windows 98
Windows Me
Windows NT
Windows XP
Windows 2000

Applications
Excel 97
Excel 2000
Excel 2002 (XP)
Excel 2003

Currently from that list the operating system has no
bearing on what software in Office (Excel, Powerpoint,
etc) will work on which, so there should be no issue
there. All versions of Excel from XL97 work ok together.
