About 1 billion bytes. A gigabyte(GB) is used as a measure for RAM or disk
capacity. One gigabyte equals 1,024 MB, which is 1,024 KB, which is 1,024
bytes. A byte is a single character in a text document.

Unless you're selling disks. Then, 1Gb = 1,000,000,000

Similarly, 1K=1024 in the IT industry unless you're talking salary,
where 1K<=1000
