what is microsoft exchange server

i'm trying to set up outlook 3. i'm stuck because i don't know what to put in
the box..."microsoft exchange server". can someone tell me where to find
this? i've searched everywhere. and in the box that says mailbox, i assume
this is my e-mail address. correct? thanks for any help. spam blocker is in
effect but i'll unspamany responses. teri

what type of mail account do you have? close outlook and go to control
panel, mail and create a profile with the proper type of mail server?
