As you probably know, suite is this context used to
indicate a group or collection. I normally see it applied
to the collection of Microsoft Office application which I
believe Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint form
the core. The use of Word Suite in the job applications
may mean the employer is looking for someone with
experience with the different versions of Word (i.e., Word
97, Word 2000, Word 2002, etc.) but this seems like an odd
way to put it.
