What is the best way to copy Outlook messages into OneNote?

HCITC#1

I would like to copy a number of existing Outlook messages into OneNote so
that I have all email messages that pertain to a specific project. Is there
an easier way than the following?

(1) MS Outlook ==> Begin to FORWARD an existing email message
(2) MS Outlook ==> Edit/Select All/Copy
(3) MS OneNote ==> Edit/Paste

Thanks!

There is the "Send to OneNote from Outlook" Power Toy available here:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011408961033.aspx

It still requires you to individually select the items and text to be
transferred, so it may not save a lot of time.

If you don't need the text and can live with images of the emails in
OneNote, there's the "Print to OneNote" utility found here:
http://www.analogreality.com/

You can then select multiple messages, do a File | Print from Outlook,
and then select the printer driver installed above. That will then
"print" images of the emails into a page in OneNote, where they can then
later be moved to the appropriate folder.

If you're on a Tablet PC, the new Education Pack contains a new,
full-fledged Send to Microsoft Office OneNote 2003, in addition to several
others like Ink Flash Cards, Equation Writer, GoBinder Lite from Agilix
Labs, Inc., and Hexic Deluxe for Tablet PC:

It is a free download from Microsoft for Tablet PC owners.

Erik,

I've installed the Outlook2OneNote power toy but still don't see the feature
in my Outlook 2003. Would you please tell me how this feature is supposed to
work in Outlook 2003? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm running XP Pro with SP2, Office 2003 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint,
Publisher), OneNote 2003 Trial with SP1.

I'm also considering Ultra Recall, and TreePad, as alternatives to OneNote.

I'd like to be able to collect information in a variety of formats (email,
Word docs, Excel docs, text files, images) into a software app like OneNote
or competing products that relate to a given project (software development
projects). References to information (links) would be acceptable (copying the
info contents isn't neccesarily needed).

Try downloading and reinstalling. There were some issues with the very
first release of the power toy.

If it is installed correctly it should appear in Outlook's Add-In Manager
(From within Outlook, go to Tools | Options | Other tab | Advanced
Options button | Add-in Manager button.

If you're talking about the Pegasus product, it should be clarified that it
is not a Microsoft Product.

It also does not use the Tablet PC HW recognition engine (OneNote does not
to nahdwriting recignition natively, but relies on the Tablet PC OS to
perform this function) but includes its own engine.

If it works as advertised (I have not tried it) it seems like a decent
replacement for using OneNote on something other than a Tablet PC.
