what is the difference between Microsoft word 2000 and 2002?

I am wanting to take a class at my local adut ed and they are offering
Microsoft word 2002 and I have 2000. I would like to know if there is too
much difference for me to take this class.

There are no significant differences in features and functionality, but
there was a dramatic change in the UI (redesign of many menus and dialogs,
plus addition of the task pane). If you want to get the most of this class,
with the least frustration, I would advise upgrading to 2002. The most
economical way of doing this is through Microsoft Works 2005, which you can
get (after a mail-in rebate) for as little as $70 or so. In addition to Word
2002, the program includes Works 8, Encarta 2005, Money 2005, PictureIt!
