what is the differnce between pop3 IMAP HTTP

I had previously had my hotmail/ppl pc/earthlink acc. set up w/ outlook
express, I now am trying to add an email address i have from a site
(cylutions.com) and cant seem to figure out how to add it. can anyone help?
