What is the file extension for Office templates?

I'm looking to add my created templates in the same place all the Office
Templates are held. Having trouble finding the file extensions. Sure know
it's easy but, thought I'd ask those in the know!

Template Files are found in

\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033

Template files carry *.dot file extension. See Menu: Tools/Options tab:
file locations to see the locations for the various types of templates.
