What is the need of Log on to Project Server 2007 Programmatically

Hi All,

I can simply get data from Project Server 2007 (Beta) by using PSI web
service without log on to Project Server. For example, if I want to get
projects list by using PSI method of Project web service then I need to set
the URL and Credentials of Project web serrvice only. Then what is the need
to write the Windows or Project Server authentication code?
