what is the setting of max and assignment units of team members in administrative tasks

when the project manager assign the team member to the administrative
project and assign him into vacation task.
what setting of about the maximun units and assignment units.

The PM cannot set the Max. Units value since this is specified in the
Enterprise Resource Pool and cannot be changed by the PM. The PM should
leave the Units at the default value, which is 0% Units. This creates an
"empty bucket" into which each resource can add hours to the task. Hope

do you mean the user add into resource pool and his maximum units is 100%
..and PM will not change it into 0% or another percentage in the resouce view
of project.

and also keep the assignment units in resource information dialog box to 0%
when the PM adds the user into task of vacation . am i correct
understanding.

If you add a resource to the Enterprise Resource Pool and set the Max. Units
to 100%, and then a PM uses that resource in a project, the PM cannot
permanently change the Max. Units value on the Resource Sheet view in the
project. On the other hand, the PM can TEMPORARILY change the Max. Units
value, and then assign resources to tasks using that Max. Units value, but
after he/she saves and closes the project, the Max. Units value will revert
back to the value specified in the Enterprise Resource Pool.

Yes, when you assign resources to tasks in an Administrative project, you
can keep the Units value set to 0%. Your understanding is correct. Hope

ok when the administrator add the new resource into in the enterprise
resource pool then what max units he need to assign the resource in the
resource pool.
if he assign 100% max units in the resource pool then after assign that
resource to multiple project then the PM cant change to 50% and 50%..
and if the PM assign the 0% units to the resource in the resource pool then
how PM assign him different max units into different project.
