What is your preference: Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook?

I have problem in choosing between Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook.
Can anyone provide advise?
What is one's advantage over the other?
Why Microsoft provide both rather than just one with complete features?

(seems like that should repeat indefinitely but anyhow...)

Outlook Express is a light client for POP or IMAP e-mail and reading newsgroups.
It doesn't have a lot of features beyond basic messaging.

Outlook is a full-featured personal information manager with robust e-mail,
calendar, contacts, tasks, journalling and other capabilities.

Outlook Express is a component of Internet Explorer and ships with Windows.

I'm all about the options.
