Is there anyway to get hw recognition with just a Wacom then? I thought
this was possible, at least with ON2007. Would installing the tablet
SDK help?

Aloha Knightnet,

You can get HW recognition with a Wacom if there is a Wacom driver that does
HW recognition. Neither OneNote nor the Tablet PC OS will recognize text
from a Wacom on their own.

Caveat: if you create some ink with the Wacom and paste it into OneNote 2007
as a picture you *MIGHT* be able to get an OCR of that text (not really the
same thing as digital ink) if your handwriting is EXTREMELY clear. Maybe.
