What Mac operating systems will run Office Suite?

I'm considering purchasing Office Suite for my Mac, mostly for
"Powerpoint". I currently have an iMacG4 running on OS X. 1.5 - 384
ram. Recently when I tried to download learning software for InDesign
CS I was told via/pop-up, that I need OS X2.3 or higher. Is the same
true for the newer versions of Mac "Office"? Are there ANY older
versions that will run on OSX 1.5? Also do they come with learning
material -- CDs, manuals?

Thanks

The system requirements for the various versions of Office for Mac are

The page indicates that Office 2004 (including PowerPoint 2004) does not
support OS X 10.1.5. However, the previous version, Office X, should work.

Personally, I'd recommend making the OS upgrade and then getting Office
2004, but the choice is up to you.

Thanks Mickey.
I'm starting to think an OS upgrade is essential. I can't even use
Mozilla, Firefox ect with this OS. I just need to spend wisely just
now. But with learning programs available for download, I guess it
will be cheaper than buying software or taking classes for heavy duty
graphics programs anyway.
