What order do you install updates?

When there are several updates, do you install the most recent first or go to
the bottom of the list and start there? Or does it even matter. I was not
sure if one would over ride another.

If you are obtain the updates from Office Update or Microsoft Update, the
installation order will be determined for you. If you are installing
Microsoft programs or updates {such as those from Microsoft download site},
you will normally get a message asking permission to overwrite a newer file
with a older file. Even so, IMO, you should install from oldest to newest.
