Imaging will handle tif files. It's in the Accessories menu as in
Start, Programs, Accessories.
TIF files may contain multiple images, and/or images with "non-standard"
image compression. Not all image programs can handle these. Sometimes they
open multi-image TIFs but only display the first image (e.g. first page of a
fax) - and saving the file deletes the remaining images.
In Office XP/2003, the Microsoft Office Document Imaging program handles
multi-page TIFs but is also one of the programs that generates non-standard
TIFs.
