what protocol use

I have MS outlook 2003 install on my laptop and I want this verion to see my
mailbox from outside
any one can tell me, what protocol and ports must be open to use this
feature

Note: I do not want to use OWA

Your Exchange admins might be able to set you up with VPN, RAS, RPC over
HTTP, etc., for remote access to it. I'd hope that the corporate network is
protected by a good firewall that blocks all potentially dangerous ports
(including the ones you'd need to connect "bareback" to the Exchange server
from Outlook over the Internet) as it's a big security no-no.
