What to do if Microsoft Word can't display Clip Art?

More information would be helpful. Is there an error message, or is the clip
art simply not displaying?

What version of Word is this?

If Word 2003, try Tools - Options - View, and enable Drawings and make sure
that Picture Placeholders is not turned on. Also, if this is Print Preview,
make sure that Tools - Options - Print... Drawing objects is checked.
