I have XP home edition, can I opporate office 2003 small business or standard with the
upgrades or the full programs and is there any upgrades to the XP that I need to do to operate
office?
Windows XP Home meets the operating system requirements needed for Office
2003. You do not need to upgrade Windows XP Home for Office 2003, however
you should install the service pack and critical updates for other reasons.
Each edition of Office 2003 includes a specific set of Office applications.
You can find out which applications are in each retail edition here:
http://office.microsoft.com/home/default.aspx
You should choose the edition that includes that applications that you need.
You should choose the upgrade version if you have the qualifying product.
Else, you need the non-upgrade version.
