Is thier some kind of pen or some kind of recommended tool for general
purpose use for inputting "drawn or penlike" markings in onenote and other
similar kind of softwares.

Eg. what is the best input device I presume some kind of penline device.

any body can recommend where I can purchase this online?
many thanks

A Tablet PC is absolutely the best, because OneNote takes advantage of the
digital recognizers which are part of the Tablet hardware. Otherwise, you
might as well "create" what you want with your mouse and save expenses
attempting to emulate digital input with analog.

Thanks Chris,
I've never used that before, and actually never used a tablet pc :)
Is it fair to say that most people use a mouse for the drawing element?

 Loaded question, and one I don't have an answer for Fletcher. I would
imagine the mouse is the most available human connection (beside the
keyboard) on a computer, therefore would be the most used. I know people do
use writing pads, but honestly only know two people who own one (both Mac
users). On a Tablet PC, of course, the pen is the main input device and it
is just like drawing with pencil on paper (or ink on paper, crayon on . . .
well, depending on the program). There are some really awesome art programs
which are exception on Tablet PCs, including the Alias and their Sketchbook
Pro.

I use a Toshiba M200 and a Wacom Graphire3 4x5 Graphics tablet. I
would suggest both are useful.

I just bought one the AT Cross "Penabled" tablet pc pens and really like the
feel of it on the screen, better than the stock pen my tablet came with...MP5
