Hi all,
I am hoping someone may be able to help me to shed some light on which
task I should be using. i work for a media agency, and am using PWA to
allow designers and developers to update their timesheets, which in
turn drive the tracking for the projects. This system is working very
well, although since launch a few strange things have been happening.
for example if someone finishes a task early, the task duration changes
but show a percentage value by the resource etc.
i expect this is due to the fact that we ae using the wrong type of
task.
The tasks will originally be an planned estimate, and then change as
per time sheet input data. now the resource allocation shoudl always
be 100% for each resource, ie they cant do 2 things at once, but I do
also want the gant task bar to vary on length depending on work left
etc.
So which task shoudl I use, Fixed Duration, Fixed Work or Fixed Units??
Thanks for your help.
