I have a 6 GB PST file on Outlook 2003. I am about to buy a new PC with
Outlook 2007. So I'm thinking I'll start the 2007 version with a fresh
tiny PST, but only if I can search back to email I need EASILY and DAILY
from my current 6 gb file.
Question:
What programs or tools will let me view the old PST file data? Every time I
look at options like Microsoft's Desktop Search or others, it seems there is
always some reason why it doesn't like archived PST data. I forget the
reasons, but they are something like it won't be able to open/view the email
after it finds it, or it can't search archived ones automatically and I've
had to point to each one individually each time. My memory is probably a
bit off but either way if I'm going to archive this 6GB I need a solution
that works as nicely as my current one (which is using Desktop Search to
search my one and only live/active 6gb PST file). What utility would you
recommend? Surely this must be a common problem.
