Is there a list of MS part numbers so I may tell what version of Office I am
buying off Ebay. And if so, will it give the EUL for this product?

I want a Professional version that allows for upto 3 different computer
installs

Unless you buy a volume license, that ain't gonna' happen. Pro is limited to
one primary system and 1 portable - both used by only you. If you want to
use three systems, you need more than one license.

Joanne,
Doesn't the academic license allow installation on three computers?

For any edition, especially an academic one, read the EULA and/or ask
the academic IT department. Office 2007 Home and Student edition can
be installed on 3 computers.

Nope, Academic version is only allowed to be installed on one PC. If you
want to install on 3 PC in the same household, from one license, your
choices are Office 2003 Student and Teacher, OR Office 2007 Home and
Student.
