Other than the discontinued MS Office Binder itself
there is the MS Office Unbind utility which separates
the OBD (Office Binder Document) files back into their
individual Word/Excel/Powerpoint document components.
The unbind utility is an optional install item in Office XP
and Office 2003 through Microsoft Office in Add/Remove Programs
in the Windows Control Panel, or the unbind utility can
be downloaded as part of the Office 2000 Resource Kit
Tools from
http://microsoft.com/office/orkarchive/2000ddl.htm
and separately unpacking the utility from that ORKTools.exe
file.
The older, Office 97 unbind utility from the Office 97
Valupak (on the Office97 CD) can be downloaded from
http://microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=bb8ef813-80e3-493f-a914-7add36d84b8a
but may not work on newer version binder files.
